The 35th Annual Meeting of the Social Science History Association will take place in Chicago, Illinois, 18-21 November 2010. The 2010 Program Committee seeks panel proposals that will focus on Power and Politics and submissions will be accepted until 15 February 2010. From 4 to 21 February 2010, the photo and video reportage "Exil, Exit? Vivre sans-papiers en Europe" (“Exile, Exit? Living without documents in Europe”) by Olivier Jobard will be shown in Place de la Bastille, Paris, France. The reportage, produced by Médecins du Monde and Sipa Press, aims to describe the living conditions of the undocumented migrants in Europe, with a special focus on the issue of access to health care. FORUM, the Dutch Institute for Multicultural Affairs, will hold a conference in The Hague, on 17 February 2010, on the current human rights situation of migrants and asylum seekers in The Netherlands. The objective of the conference, entitled “Who’s Right(s)?”, is to discuss how to strengthen the cooperation between the different actors who influence the Dutch law-making process concerning human rights of migrants. The Dutch foundation Stichting LOS will hold a conference in Utrecht on 18 February 2010 for Dutch organizations providing assistance (shelter, medical services, food, legal advice etc) to undocumented migrants.
